Advance work removes that predictability by surveying every venue, timing every route, and preparing contingencies before the principal ever arrives. This course covers site survey methodology, route selection and alternate planning, hostile surveillance recognition, safe haven and medical facility identification, and the emergency action plans that translate a survey into an executable protection package. It is taught through desk-based route mapping, live reconnaissance exercises on realistic routes, and rehearsal of contingency drills with a protection team.
